Hello Gardens ALIVE Design Clients and Friends~
As you may know, we love our property in rural Duvall. We have a large yard, of course! And a bursting veggie garden along with 4 acres of fenced pasture that used to house my 3 horses that I had since I was 13. As animals do, they got old and sadly one by one I had to say goodbye to my beloved Buckster, Chestnut and Tilly.
A couple of years ago, our son was interested in raising animals through the local FFA program at our high school in Duvall. He learned that he could raise them and sell them for meat. This was a win – win – win as he enjoyed taking care of animals, we needed assistance with pasture maintenance and we had friends and family members interested in purchasing quality farm-raised meat.
As of this past August, Judah is off to college and I’m assisting with the next round of orders. I’d like him to stay focused on the books, if possible! 😉 We currently have 2 beautiful Angus that have been lovingly raised and are bursting at the seams. They truly look as round as they are tall! The animals are very well cared for and our past beef and pork customers have been thrilled to purchase local and healthy, pasture-fed meat for their families.
I am currently taking orders for 1/2 or 1/4 beef to be available to pick up in late November. The price/lb is the same as last year at $4.50/lb hanging weight (let me know if you are new to this term and I can assist). You will pay the butcher; cut/wrap and specialty meats fees per your order form at the time of picking up your order from Del Fox.
Down payment is needed in October for 1/2 a beef =$500 down payment and 1/4 a beef = $250 down payment both non-refundable as we need to secure the orders. Final payment will be calculated per the hanging weight.

I will also be taking verbal orders for beef to be ready Fall 2020 and pork ready around July or August of 2020. No down payment necessary at this point as I’m just checking for possible orders at this point.
