Celebrating 17 Years of Inspirational Designs, Community Support, and Wonderful Clients
This year marks a meaningful milestone for Gardens ALIVE Design: 17 years of creating thoughtful, beautiful outdoor spaces for wonderful clients across the Pacific Northwest and beyond! What began as a passion-driven design practice has grown into a trusted resource for homeowners seeking gardens that feel alive in every season.
As I celebrate this anniversary with you, I’m reflecting on the relationships, projects, and community connections that have shaped my work — and looking ahead to another year of creativity, collaboration, and growth.
A Commitment to Community & Industry Leadership
Community involvement has always been at the heart of Gardens ALIVE Design. Over the years, I’ve partnered with more than 12 local organizations, contributing time, expertise, and support to causes that strengthen the goals of the landscape industry. I’m also proud to share that Gardens ALIVE Design has donated over $5,000 to area auctions and fundraisers, helping schools, nonprofits, and neighborhood groups continue their important work.
My commitment extends specifically to the horticulture industry as mentoring newcomers, shaping decisions and fostering collaboration between sectors. I’ve served on the Washington State Nursery & Landscape Association (WSNLA) board for 14 years and am honored to be the incoming state president. Supporting the growth, education, and professionalism of our industry has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career.
Thank You for 17 Years of Growth
To every client, collaborator, and community partner — thank you for being part of this journey. Gardens ALIVE Design has flourished because of your trust, your enthusiasm, and your shared love of beautiful outdoor spaces.
And a special thanks to my family for their unwavering support — whether it’s helping me wrestle heavy trees into the truck, tackling edging or weeds in our landscape, or celebrating successes from the sidelines – I truly couldn’t have done it without you!
Here’s to another year of creativity, connection, and gardens that truly feel alive.
